Real-World Evidence Generation Solutions

The most expensive drug is the one that doesn't work in real-world settings.

One Step Ahead

Seeking Better Solutions

Recent publication by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), has estimated that total annual costs of cancer care will reach approach ~$250b by 2030 (>20% of the GDP).  The cost of cancer care is increasing exponentially and newly FDA approved targeted therapies costs anywhere from $200,000 to $500,000 per year. More so, there is no real world evidence that outcomes in real world are comparable to outcomes projected in Pivotal FDA registration trials. Outcomes based contracting models based on real world evidence may be one of the only ways to stem the rising costs of cancer treatments in US.

Cancer Care Innovations is an established 501C3 nonprofit incorporated in the state of Indiana with offices in Indianapolis and Chicago. Cancer Care Innovations is a nonprofit organization created to generate real-world evidence data that many pharmaceutical manufacturers have not yet committed resources to generate and fill a gaps in datasets in the literature that both the FDA and payer organizations are beginning to require for approval and use of prescription pharmaceuticals.

Real-World Evidence Models

Outcome based pricing model as a solution for the high cancer care cost. Outcome based pricing can be based on randomized controlled trial data, real world evidence date, scope and breadth of data available to payer.
